You arrive before you speak. People feel the change in the room when you walk into it, and they adjust to you without quite knowing why they are doing it.
Mars rules your doorway, which means the first thing anyone meets in you is momentum. Not aggression, though it gets read that way. Momentum.

There is a directness to an Aries rising that other people find either refreshing or alarming, and rarely anything in between. You ask the question everyone else was circling. You make the decision while the group is still discussing it.
Physically, this rising often shows up in the face and the head. A strong brow, a quick smile, something sharp and awake around the eyes. You move fast and you tend to lead with your head, sometimes literally.

How rare is a Aries rising?
Because it is a sign of short ascension in the northern hemisphere, it crosses the horizon quickly, which means fewer people are born under it. So yes, genuinely less common if you were born north of the equator. Rising signs are not evenly distributed and most sites never mention it. South of the equator the whole thing reverses.
What does a Aries rising look like?
Traditionally, a direct gaze, a quick step and something decided about the brow. Often a mark or scar somewhere on the head or face. I would hold this loosely. The ascendant shapes the impression more than the features, and plenty of people carry a Aries rising without matching a single line of that.
Who is Aries rising attracted to?
Usually people who can keep up and will not be managed. Libra risings and air in general, because they slow you down without stopping you. But your ascendant governs how you meet people, not who you end up loving. For that, look at your Venus and at your seventh house, which for you is Libra.

Does my Aries rising change?
No. It is fixed by the minute and the place you were born, which is why the birth time matters so much. What changes is how well you wear it. Most people grow into their rising somewhere in their thirties, around the time transiting Mars has come round enough times to make the point.
