Hello, my peeps ✨
“A miracle can open the door. A practice is what teaches your new life how to stay.”
Let me tell you what happens after full circle. Last week, Janet, the woman who first put headphones on my head and let me hear my own voice inside a real radio studio, sat inside the studio I built. I spent so much time explaining what that moment meant that I almost forgot something important: a full-circle moment is not the ending of the story. It is the moment life hands the story back to you and asks, “Now that you understand where you came from, what are you going to build next?”
This is the part nobody really talks about. The moment happens. The picture gets taken. The microphones eventually go quiet, and everybody goes home. Then Thursday morning arrives, and you are still responsible for the life you prayed for. You still have to answer the email, protect the vision, clean the room, tell the truth, change the habit, and become consistent enough to hold what God trusted you to receive.
“The miracle introduces you to the next version of your life. Your daily choices decide whether that version gets to stay.”
That is why the astrology of this week feels so personal to me. On Thursday, September 10, the sky does not make one change. It makes four. Love goes deeper. Words look for balance. The mind begins reviewing its own revolution. And Virgo places a clean sheet of paper on the table and says, “Beautiful. Now show me the plan.” The Virgo New Moon is not here to erase what came before. It asks us to take the wisdom, the grief, the testimony, the full-circle proof, and organize it into a life that actually works. Not a perfect life. A sustainable one.
The soul lesson of the week: do not ask only, “What am I manifesting?” Ask, “What structure will make me trustworthy with the thing I say I want?”
The astrology: one Thursday, four turning points 🌙
This week begins under a waning Moon. The light is decreasing, which makes Sunday through Wednesday a clearing space: finish, simplify, review, rest, and notice what the August 28 Pisces lunar eclipse revealed. You do not need to manufacture urgency just because you are excited about the next chapter. Virgo wisdom is quiet enough to measure twice.
Venus enters Scorpio at 4:07 AM Eastern. Affection wants truth, loyalty, depth and energetic honesty. Surface harmony is no longer enough. Because Venus retrogrades beginning October 3, some relationship and money themes introduced now may return for a deeper review.
Mercury enters Libra at 12:20 PM Eastern, through September 30. The conversation becomes relational: what is fair, and what have we avoided saying because we wanted everybody comfortable? Diplomacy helps. Indecision does not.
Uranus stations retrograde at 5°42′ Gemini at 2:27 PM Eastern, turning inward until February 8, 2027. The revolution moves into the mind: language, media, technology and the stories we repeat. A station can feel electrically loud, so slow down long enough to tell the difference between liberation and reactivity.
Then, at 11:27 PM Eastern, the New Moon arrives at 18°26′ Virgo. This is the reset beneath all the other changes. Virgo rules editing, discernment, craft, routines, health practices, work systems and the sacred dignity of doing the small thing well.
“This is not a fireworks New Moon. It is a systems New Moon.”
What the Virgo New Moon is asking
Virgo energy gets reduced to cleaning and lists, but that is the shallow version. Virgo is the intelligence that separates what heals from what harms, what is useful from what is noise, and what belongs in your life from what only occupies space. It is spiritual discernment translated into a repeatable action.
A New Moon is a seed point. At 18° Virgo, the seed is practical: one appointment made, one boundary written down, one drawer cleared, one budget reviewed, one promise kept, one daily practice made simple enough to repeat. The sky is not asking you to renovate your entire life before breakfast. It is asking you to identify the smallest honest system that supports the largest meaningful change.
Your New Moon practice: before 11:27 PM Eastern on September 10, write two lists. First, “What I am no longer available to manage.” Second, “What I am willing to practice for the next 30 days.” Cross out anything designed to impress people. Circle the one practice that would make your schedule, money, home or relationships feel more honest.
The numerology of the week 🔢
I do not believe numbers force events. I believe they describe the vibration moving through a moment, the address of the energy. This week carries a beginning number, but it refuses to confuse beginning with rushing. 2026 reduces to a Universal 1 Year: identity, initiation, leadership and the start of a fresh nine-year cycle. September, month 9 inside a 1 Year, becomes a 10/1, where completion and initiation share the same room. We close with wisdom and begin with intention.
Wednesday, September 9, carries a microphone-ready 1: name it, lead it, start it. The New Moon on September 10 reduces to a 2, a partnership number, all listening, intuition, cooperation and correct timing. The 1 asks you to claim your direction. The 2 reminds you that direction still needs partnership, patience and emotional intelligence. The mature beginning is not the loudest one. It is the one your life can continue.
The number of the week is 10/1: the old cycle has given you its final instruction. Do not keep repeating the lesson because you are afraid to become the beginner again.
Wednesday night on The Jae Rae Show 🎙️
Live Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 8:00 PM Eastern. Watch on YouTube @jaeraelive. Call 515-JAE-SHOW (515-523-7469) or text 315-JAE-SHOW (315-523-7469).
Last week we talked about what it means when life brings you full circle. This Wednesday, we are talking about what comes next. How do you hold a blessing after the emotional high passes? How do you know whether the next door continues the old assignment or begins an entirely new one? And what does the Virgo New Moon want you to clean up before you call something a fresh start? I will break down the September 10 sky in plain language, take your calls and texts, and connect the astrology to the real decisions people are making about love, money, work, family and the habits that quietly run everything.
Bring this question to the show: what part of my life looks ready for a new beginning, but still needs a more honest system underneath it?
The JRL Tarot card of the week 🃏
Seven of Wands
Defender
Hold the line around what matters.
The Seven of Wands is not asking you to fight everybody. It is asking you to stop abandoning your position every time somebody questions it. There is a difference between being defensive and being devoted. Defensive energy reacts to every opinion. Devoted energy knows what it is protecting and refuses to negotiate away the structure that keeps it alive. Under a Virgo New Moon, the boundary may be ordinary: the bedtime, the budget, the appointment, the work block, the food in the house, the time your phone goes off, the truth you will not soften into a lie. Small boundaries create large futures.
Protect the practice that protects the person you are becoming.
Your 12 rising-sign tarotscopes 🔮
I pulled one card for each sign from the complete 78-card JRL Tarot deck, without replacement, so every sign receives its own distinct card. Read your rising sign first, then your Sun and Moon. Notice the sentence that makes you pause, journal the question, and choose one practical action before the New Moon. A difficult-looking card does not mean a difficult fate. It names the energy honestly so you can work with it consciously.
♈️ Aries
Three of Swords
The grief inside the routine
The Virgo New Moon resets your sixth house, so the hidden architecture of your daily life is the story. The Three of Swords says a disappointment has been living inside the schedule. Perhaps you keep overworking so you do not have to feel it, or you keep breaking promises to yourself because grief has made consistency feel impossible. You do not heal by attacking your body with a stricter routine. You heal by building a routine gentle enough to tell the truth. Name what hurts, remove one daily obligation that belongs to an old version of you, and replace punishment with care.
Your private journal question: What pain has been quietly organizing my days, and what would a kinder routine make possible?
♉️ Taurus
The Emperor
Give the joy a container
The New Moon plants a seed in your fifth house of joy and creative expression. The Emperor says your pleasure needs a container, and that does not sound romantic until you realize how many gifts stay unfinished because they never receive a date, a budget, a boundary or a plan. In love, know your standards before chemistry begins negotiating them. With a creative project, lead without controlling every outcome. Structure is not the enemy of spontaneity this week. The right structure becomes the safe room where joy can finally grow up and be seen.
Your private journal question: What would I create, or allow myself to enjoy, if I gave it a real place on the calendar?
♊️ Gemini
Three of Wands
The horizon begins at home
The New Moon activates your fourth house, asking you to redesign the foundation from which everything else expands. The Three of Wands looks outward, but your next horizon begins at home. A move, a family plan, a home-based business or an emotional shift may be taking shape. Do not confuse waiting with doing nothing. Prepare the room, have the family conversation, build the support system before the opportunity arrives. Your future is not asking you to abandon your roots. It is asking you to make those roots strong enough to travel with you.
Your private journal question: What future am I preparing for at home, even if nobody else can see it yet?
♋️ Cancer
Ten of Pentacles
One conversation becomes a legacy
The Virgo New Moon resets the way you communicate and learn. The Ten of Pentacles turns one conversation into a legacy conversation. This can involve family money, property, caregiving, a document, a business, or the stories nobody wrote down. Say the practical thing with love. Ask where the papers are. Record the elder. Make the agreement clear. Teach what you know. Your voice is not only for expressing emotion. A small piece of information organized correctly this week may protect people for years.
Your private journal question: What information, story, or agreement does my family, or future family, need me to preserve?
♌️ Leo
The Devil
See what you have been feeding
The New Moon enters your second house and asks for a clean beginning with money and self-worth. The Devil does not automatically mean disaster. It means something has more control over you than you want to admit: spending for validation, undercharging to be liked, staying in golden handcuffs, or attaching your worth to what you can display. Shame will not free you. Honest inventory will. Look at the number, the habit, the agreement and the emotional need underneath it. The chain in this card is information. Once you see what you have been feeding, you can choose what receives your resources next.
Your private journal question: What am I paying, financially or emotionally, to avoid feeling “not enough”?
♍️ Virgo
Five of Cups
Built from what remains
This is your New Moon, Virgo. It lands in your first house and offers a personal reset, but the Five of Cups makes it clear that the new self cannot be built by pretending the old self did not lose anything. Grieve the plan that did not happen. Forgive the version of you who did not know then what you know now. Then turn around. Not every cup has fallen. Something remains: skill, faith, love, experience, a body still carrying you, a gift that survived the disappointment. Your beginning is not empty. It is built from what is still true.
Your private journal question: What remains available to me once I stop staring only at what was lost?
♎️ Libra
Ace of Pentacles
A quiet, tangible seed
The New Moon disappears into your twelfth house, the quiet room of the chart, and the Ace of Pentacles appears like a seed placed in your palm. This beginning may not be public yet. It may look like rest, private planning, therapy, prayer, a behind-the-scenes application, or an idea you protect until it has roots. Do not dig up the seed just to prove it is growing. Venus and Mercury both change signs this week, so relationships and decisions are moving, but your most valuable work may happen where nobody can applaud it yet. Make the small practical move and let silence become fertile.
Your private journal question: What quiet, tangible beginning needs protection before it needs publicity?
♏️ Scorpio
The Magician
Name the one future
The Virgo New Moon opens your eleventh house of community and the future. The Magician says the right people may be waiting for you to articulate the vision clearly. You already have more of the equipment than you think: the story, the skill, the platform, the contact, the lived experience. Stop scattering power across ten private possibilities. Choose one future, name the next step, and invite the collaborator, audience or friend who can meet you there. Venus entering your sign increases magnetism, but attraction becomes creation only when intention meets action.
Your private journal question: If I had to name my next chapter in one clear sentence, what would I say?
♐️ Sagittarius
Seven of Swords
Strategy with clean hands
The New Moon resets your tenth house of career and public direction, and the Seven of Swords asks for strategy and impeccable honesty. Not every plan belongs in the group chat. Protect your intellectual property, read the agreement, verify the promise, and notice where you are tempted to escape instead of having a necessary professional conversation. Discretion is not deception, but avoiding accountability is. Your public future grows when your private method can survive scrutiny. Move intelligently, say less while the plan is forming, and make sure the person you present to the world is not carrying a secret that contradicts the mission.
Your private journal question: Where do I need wiser strategy, and where am I using “strategy” to avoid the truth?
♑️ Capricorn
The High Priestess
Trust the knowing
The Virgo New Moon enters your ninth house and asks what you truly believe now, not what you were trained to repeat. The High Priestess does not rush to explain the mystery. She listens until the information becomes knowing. A course, a trip, a book, a legal matter or a teaching role may be beginning, but the next step requires inner confirmation before external approval. Your competence can become a way of overruling intuition. Let the research and the whisper sit at the same table. The answer may arrive in a dream, a pause, or the sentence you keep rereading.
Your private journal question: What do I already know that I keep postponing until an authority agrees with me?
♒️ Aquarius
Ace of Wands
A spark that needs honesty
The New Moon resets your eighth house of shared resources and emotional trust, and the Ace of Wands brings heat and momentum into a place that usually requires depth and caution. This can be a new financial strategy, a courageous intimacy conversation, a business partnership, a debt plan, or a desire that returns after a long emotional winter. Inspiration is real, but the eighth house requires consent, transparency and clean agreements. Do not use enthusiasm to skip the numbers or the vulnerability. Let the spark begin the conversation, and let honesty decide what is safe to build together.
Your private journal question: What new desire is asking me to risk honesty, not just excitement?
♓️ Pisces
The Tower
An honest architecture
The Virgo New Moon occurs across from you in the partnership house, and the Tower refuses cosmetic repairs. This does not predict catastrophe. It says a relationship, a client agreement or a belief about partnership may need a more honest architecture. If the truth changes the structure, the structure was already depending on silence. Let the revelation show you what can be rebuilt and what was never stable enough to carry both people. With Mercury entering Libra and Venus entering Scorpio, conversations can be fair and deep, but only if everybody stops protecting the appearance of harmony more than the reality of trust.
Your private journal question: What relationship structure would change if the whole truth were allowed into the room?
Before you go…
This is the week after the miracle and before the new seed. It is not empty space. It is preparation. Let Sunday through Wednesday show you what has become too complicated, too performative, too expensive, too draining or too dishonest to carry forward. Then let Thursday give you a cleaner beginning. You do not need the whole map by September 10. You need one true direction, one workable system, one conversation with integrity, and one practice you are willing to defend after the emotion wears off.
“God can send the opening. The Universe can confirm the timing. But you still have to become the person who keeps showing up after the confirmation.”
There is one question hidden inside this Virgo New Moon that sounds practical, but it will expose the spiritual agreement underneath almost every habit you have. I am not answering it here. I am bringing it to the microphone Wednesday night.
I love you, my peeps. I will see you Wednesday night.
