Hey, my peeps ✨
“Sometimes God answers by changing the container, not the calling.”
I have been thinking about how often we convince ourselves that the next chapter has to arrive as a large production. We think it needs the perfect room, the perfect lighting, the perfect timing, the perfect team, and a whole lot of noise so everybody can see that something important is happening.
But some of the most honest parts of my life have never needed a production. They have needed an iPhone, a car ride, the morning sun coming through the window, a meal made with love, a room being put back together, or one real conversation where somebody finally tells the truth.
That is the part of me I am learning to honor more. I can be the woman who has the intense spiritual conversation and the woman who cares about the color of the room, the food on the table, the energy in the house, and whether the light feels warm. None of it is separate. Spirit is not only what happens when the microphone is on. Spirit is how I live when nobody says action.
This week carries that same message. The sky is not asking us to become somebody else. It is asking us to stop separating the sacred from the ordinary.
“You do not need a bigger stage to become more real. You need the courage to let your real life become the message.”
The week in three movements 🌙
Power shows its hand. On Tuesday, October 20, Venus retrograde squares Pluto at 2:55 AM Eastern. Love, money, desire, jealousy, control, self-worth, and power can become tangled. This is not the day to chase, threaten, manipulate, overspend, or force an answer. Act like everyone is wearing a wire. Watch what people do when they cannot control the outcome, including you.
Feel it before you force it. On Wednesday, October 21, the Moon enters Pisces at 8:34 AM Eastern and the Sun opposes Chiron at 6:26 PM. This is the night of The Jae Rae Show, and the timing is not accidental. The energy is intuitive, emotional, spiritually open, and tender. Something old may ache because it is finally ready to be understood. Feeling it does not make you weak. It gives you information.
The review gets louder. On Friday, October 23, the Sun enters Scorpio at 5:37 AM Eastern and meets Venus retrograde at 11:43 PM. A truth about love, money, beauty, desire, or value can become unmistakably clear. Mercury stations retrograde in Scorpio on October 24 at 3:12 AM, and Venus backs into Libra on October 25 at 5:09 AM. Think before you speak. Re-read the message. Recheck the agreement. What returns is not automatically meant to stay; sometimes it returns so you can answer differently.
The numerology 🔢
October is a collective 2 month inside a Universal 1 Year. This week moves through 11, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. It begins with an intuitive 11 doorway and ends with the completion of 9: notice, express, build, move, care, reflect, lead, and release. The numbers are walking us from spiritual awareness into a finished decision.
Your weekly rising-sign tarotscopes 🔮
Twelve fresh cards pulled from the complete 78-card JRL Tarot deck, paired with the week’s astrology and a grounded message for every rising sign. Begin with your rising sign, then read your Sun and Moon. Keep what resonates. Let the rest remain a question.
♈ Aries Rising
Shared money and intimacy intensify; self-worth becomes the next revelation.

SEVEN OF WANDS
Conviction, boundaries, holding your ground
What the card is saying. Aries rising, the Seven of Wands appears when your position matters more than everybody else’s approval. Scorpio season and Mercury retrograde enter your eighth house of shared money, intimacy, debts, secrets, and energetic agreements. Something may test whether the boundary you announced is also the boundary you are willing to live.
How to work with the week. Venus square Pluto can turn desire into a power struggle if fear is driving the conversation. Do not defend every opinion; defend the truth that protects your peace, money, body, and future. The Taurus Full Moon waiting just beyond Sunday will clarify what security really costs. Stop paying for belonging with access to yourself.
One grounded practice. Write one nonnegotiable and the calm sentence you will use to protect it.
Affirmation: I can hold my ground without turning my life into a battlefield.
♉ Taurus Rising
Partnership is under review; the approaching Full Moon puts you back in focus.

KING OF CUPS
Emotional command, maturity, steady compassion
What the card is saying. Taurus rising, the King of Cups does not deny what he feels; he refuses to let the feeling drive the car. Scorpio season, the Venus cazimi, and Mercury retrograde activate your relationship house. Somebody’s behavior may show you more than their explanation. Your power is in responding from emotional authority, not emotional reaction.
How to work with the week. The Full Moon in your sign arrives just after this issue closes, so your body may already feel the pressure building. Do not make yourself smaller to keep a relationship comfortable. At the same time, do not confuse calm with silence. Say what is true without using truth as a weapon. Mature love can hold honesty and tenderness in the same room.
One grounded practice. Before answering, name the feeling, the fact, and the response you can respect tomorrow.
Affirmation: My calm is not avoidance; it is emotional leadership.
♊ Gemini Rising
Work, health, and daily habits enter a serious season of review.

PAGE OF PENTACLES
A practical beginning, learning, grounded effort
What the card is saying. Gemini rising, the Page of Pentacles is the student willing to begin correctly instead of pretending to be finished. Scorpio season and Mercury retrograde move through your routines, health, work, service, and systems. The answer may be less dramatic than you expected: learn the process, correct the schedule, ask the question, and do the next useful thing.
How to work with the week. When Mercury turns retrograde, details deserve another look. Recheck appointments, instructions, invoices, equipment, passwords, and promises. This is not punishment; it is quality control. Venus returning to Libra reminds you that a routine should make room for creativity and pleasure too. A life that works should still feel alive.
One grounded practice. Choose one habit to study for seven days without judging yourself for the data.
Affirmation: Small, teachable steps create trustworthy change.
♋ Cancer Rising
Love, creativity, children, and the inner child become the heart of the review.

SIX OF CUPS
Memory, innocence, the past returning gently
What the card is saying. Cancer rising, the Six of Cups opens the door to memory. Scorpio season, Venus retrograde, and Mercury retrograde activate romance, creativity, children, and the younger self. A person, dream, talent, or ache from the past may return. The question is not only what happened then; it is what the memory still asks from you now.
How to work with the week. Nostalgia can be medicine, but it can also edit out the parts that hurt. Let the sweet memory stay sweet without using it to reopen a door that your wiser self already closed. The Pisces Moon on show day supports forgiveness and spiritual perspective. Give your younger self what she needed: safety, truth, permission, or play.
One grounded practice. Write five sentences to your younger self beginning with: You did not deserve to carry...
Affirmation: I can honor the past without moving back into it.
♌ Leo Rising
Home and family are reorganizing beneath your public ambitions.

KING OF WANDS
Vision, leadership, creative command
What the card is saying. Leo rising, the King of Wands remembers that leadership is not volume; it is direction. Scorpio season and Mercury retrograde activate home, family, property, ancestry, and your emotional foundation. You may be capable of leading everybody else while privately realizing that your own base needs attention. That is not failure. That is honest management.
How to work with the week. The approaching Taurus Full Moon brings career and visibility into focus, which means the private and public life have to speak to each other. Fix what cannot support the future you keep announcing. On show night, the Pisces Moon asks you to trust without giving away control. A powerful vision still needs a safe home to return to.
One grounded practice. Name one home or family decision that would make your leadership more sustainable.
Affirmation: I lead from a foundation strong enough to hold my fire.
♍ Virgo Rising
Words, agreements, siblings, and information require deeper listening.

THE HERMIT
Inner guidance, discernment, sacred quiet
What the card is saying. Virgo rising, The Hermit is not isolation for punishment. It is the quiet required to hear what noise has been covering. Scorpio season and Mercury retrograde activate communication, paperwork, technology, travel, siblings, and the daily information stream. Every message does not need an immediate answer. Some words need to sit before they become truth.
How to work with the week. Act like everyone is wearing a wire. Re-read the text, check the tone, save the receipt, and do not send the emotional first draft. Venus returning to Libra revisits money and worth. Your private reflection may reveal where you have been overexplaining your value to somebody committed to misunderstanding it. Quiet is information too.
One grounded practice. Take thirty quiet minutes before one important reply and write what you know without defending it.
Affirmation: My inner light does not need outside noise to prove it exists.
♎ Libra Rising
Money and worth deepen; Venus returns to your sign with unfinished business.

TWO OF SWORDS
A pause, honest choice, ending the stalemate
What the card is saying. Libra rising, the Two of Swords appears when you already know a decision is required but do not yet want the consequences of choosing. Scorpio season and Mercury retrograde move through money, pricing, possessions, and self-worth. Venus retrograde returns to your sign on Sunday, bringing the unfinished conversation directly back to your identity.
How to work with the week. You cannot create peace by refusing to name the problem. Venus square Pluto may expose where attraction, approval, or fear has influenced your standards. Take off the blindfold without rushing the answer. Gather the facts, listen to the body, and decide what agreement reflects the person you are becoming, not the person who was afraid to disappoint everybody.
One grounded practice. List what each option protects, costs, and makes possible. Then circle the honest tradeoff.
Affirmation: A clear choice can create the peace indecision never will.
♏ Scorpio Rising
The Sun, Venus, and Mercury turn your private transformation into a personal reckoning.

JUDGEMENT
Awakening, reckoning, answering the call
What the card is saying. Scorpio rising, Judgement is the alarm clock for the soul. The Sun enters your sign, meets Venus retrograde, and is followed by Mercury stationing retrograde in Scorpio. This is your season, but it is not business as usual. Something is asking you to see who you have become and stop answering life from an identity you already outgrew.
How to work with the week. The past may call, but not every call deserves a reunion. Sometimes the return is an audit: can you respond without repeating the old pattern? The Venus cazimi can reveal what you love and what your love has been costing. Answer the higher call, not the familiar one. Rebirth is not a performance; it is a decision repeated.
One grounded practice. Write the sentence: The version of me I am releasing believed... Then finish it honestly.
Affirmation: I answer the life that is calling me now.
♐ Sagittarius Rising
Your hidden world grows louder while community and future plans come back for review.

KNIGHT OF PENTACLES
Reliability, patience, the next correct step
What the card is saying. Sagittarius rising, the Knight of Pentacles slows the horse long enough to make the journey sustainable. Scorpio season and Mercury retrograde activate rest, endings, dreams, spiritual protection, and what has been happening behind the scenes. Your instincts may be loud, but the next step should still be grounded, repeatable, and responsible.
How to work with the week. Venus returns to your community house, so an old friendship, audience, group, or goal may circle back. Do not confuse movement with progress or familiarity with alignment. The Knight asks who consistently shows up, including you. Protect your sleep, finish the quiet task, and let reliability become the spiritual practice.
One grounded practice. Choose one promise small enough to keep every day through Mercury retrograde.
Affirmation: Steady devotion carries me farther than restless urgency.
♑ Capricorn Rising
Your community, reputation, and long-term legacy ask who belongs in the structure.

TEN OF PENTACLES
Legacy, lasting security, shared prosperity
What the card is saying. Capricorn rising, the Ten of Pentacles asks what will remain after the applause, the purchase, the title, and the temporary win. Scorpio season and Mercury retrograde activate friendships, audiences, networks, and future plans. This is legacy work: deciding who belongs around the table and what the table is being built to support.
How to work with the week. Venus square Pluto can expose tension between personal money and collective expectations. Generosity is beautiful, but access, loyalty, and investment require discernment. The Taurus Full Moon ahead lights your joy, creativity, and children. Build security that leaves room to live. A legacy without warmth is only a structure.
One grounded practice. Name one tradition, asset, or body of work you want to strengthen for the next generation.
Affirmation: I build prosperity that can be lived in, shared, and remembered.
♒ Aquarius Rising
Career and visibility transform while home prepares for a Full Moon revelation.

SIX OF SWORDS
Transition, calmer water, intelligent departure
What the card is saying. Aquarius rising, the Six of Swords is not pretending the storm never happened. It is choosing not to build a home inside it. Scorpio season, the Venus cazimi, and Mercury retrograde activate career, visibility, authority, and reputation. A public direction may need revision because the private truth has changed.
How to work with the week. You do not owe permanent loyalty to a plan that no longer matches the person carrying it. Move carefully, document what matters, and do not burn the bridge while you are still crossing. The Taurus Full Moon waiting on Monday highlights home and family. The destination is not only success; it is peace you can actually live with.
One grounded practice. List what belongs in the boat for the next crossing and what must remain on the old shore.
Affirmation: I am allowed to leave turbulence without explaining every wave.
♓ Pisces Rising
Beliefs, spiritual truth, travel, and the story you live by enter deep review.

THE MOON
Intuition, mystery, separating fear from guidance
What the card is saying. Pisces rising, The Moon speaks your language, but it also warns that sensitivity is not the same as certainty. Scorpio season and Mercury retrograde activate faith, teaching, publishing, travel, legal matters, and the beliefs that organize your life. A dream or feeling may be meaningful without being a literal instruction.
How to work with the week. The Moon enters Pisces on show day, heightening intuition and emotional permeability. Ground before you interpret. Ask what you know, what you sense, and what you fear; do not make them one sentence. Venus returning to Libra revisits shared money and trust. Read every agreement in daylight, even when the connection feels spiritual.
One grounded practice. Divide one page into KNOW, SENSE, and FEAR. Give each voice its own evidence.
Affirmation: My intuition becomes clearer when I give fear its proper name.
“The card is a mirror, not a sentence. Your power is in how consciously you meet the message.”
This week asks all twelve signs to recognize truth even when it changes shape. Venus challenges Pluto, the Sun enters Scorpio and meets Venus retrograde, Mercury stations retrograde, and Venus returns to Libra. Do not force the answer because you are uncomfortable with the question. What returns may be asking for a different response, not another repetition.

One simple practice 🕯️
Make two columns on a piece of paper: what looks good and what feels true. Be honest about the difference. Then choose one small action that respects the truth without creating unnecessary drama.

Because at 12:11 AM Eastern on October 26, the Taurus Full Moon arrives. What has been quietly building around money, the body, home, safety, loyalty, and self-worth is about to become visible, and once it does, pretending not to know may no longer be an option.
