How to work out your personal year 🔢
Your personal year runs birthday to birthday, not January to January. Until your birthday lands you are still inside last year’s cycle, so someone born in November is still in their previous personal year all the way through to that November. Take your birth month, your birth day and the year your current cycle began, add every digit together, then reduce, holding 11, 22 and 33. Someone born on September 19 whose cycle began in 2026 adds 9 + 1+9 + 2+0+2+6, which is 29, and 2+9 is 11. That is a master number, so it stays there. Note that the month is its own number, so July is 7 rather than 07.
Read personal year 2 as well. That is the floor of this year. The 11 is what happens when a 2 arrives with far more intensity than a 2 normally carries.
What this year is asking of you
Listen and write it down. Whatever is coming through this year is easy to dismiss in the moment and obvious in hindsight.
It is also asking you to stop arguing with what you already know.
What not to do this year
Do not force outcomes, exactly as in a 2. The extra voltage makes forcing more tempting and more damaging.

This is why fighting your year rarely works. Trying to launch in a 9 or rest in a 1 is possible, it is just uphill the entire way. The number does not decide what happens to you. It tells you which way the current is going.
What does a personal year 11 mean?
A personal year is the cycle you are in right now, and it changes every year on your birthday. A 11 year is about intuition, vision and nervous brilliance. What it asks of you is real, and the trap is the anxiety that comes with sensing more than you can act on.
How do I calculate my personal year?
Add your birth day and birth month to the current year, then reduce. So born 14 March, in 2026: 1+4+3+2+0+2+6 = 18, then 1+8 = 9. You are in a 9 year.
When does my personal year change?
On your birthday, not on 1 January. That is the single most common mistake in numerology and it throws the whole reading out by months.
What should I actually do in a 11 year?
Work with it rather than against it. A 11 year rewards intuition, vision and nervous brilliance and punishes forcing the opposite. Fighting your own year is the most tiring thing you can do with twelve months.
Is a 11 year a good year?
Every year in the cycle is useful and none of them is comfortable the whole way through. A 11 year is only a bad year if you spend it trying to live somebody else's.
