Your life path number comes from your full date of birth. Add every digit of it together, then keep reducing until you reach a single digit. The one exception is 11, 22 and 33. Those are master numbers and they are never reduced. Someone born on November 4, 1968 adds 1+1 + 4 + 1+9+6+8, which is 30, and 3+0 is 3. And if there is a zero anywhere in your date it still counts. Zero adds nothing to the total, but it takes up space, and it magnifies whatever number is sitting beside it.
A 3 total means your life keeps circling back to voice. Being heard, being understood, finding the form that carries what you actually mean rather than an approximation of it.

You lift the temperature of a room by two degrees just by arriving. You find the joke and the truth in the same sentence, which is a genuinely difficult thing to do.
You also make things. Writing, music, cooking, clothes, a garden, a business that has your fingerprints on it. The medium matters less than you think. The making is the point.

Scatter. You have nine beginnings and no endings, and every single beginning was genuinely good. That is what makes it so hard to see as a problem.
The other shadow is performance. A 3 can perform warmth so convincingly that nobody, including you, notices you have not been honest in months.

Your life path is the number you get from your full birth date reduced down, and it describes the road rather than the personality. Life path 3 is about expression, creativity and communication. The shadow of it is scattering yourself across too many things to finish any.
How do I work out my life path number?
Add every digit of your full birth date together and keep reducing until you have a single digit, stopping only at 11, 22 or 33, which are master numbers and stay as they are. So 14 March 1990 is 1+4+3+1+9+9+0 = 27, then 2+7 = 9.
Is 3 a good life path number?
There are no good and bad life paths, which is the first thing to let go of. A 3 is not luckier or unluckier than anything else. It is a set of lessons, and every number has a version of the person who learned them and a version of the person who did not.
Can your life path number change?
No. It comes from your birth date and your birth date does not move. What changes is your personal year, which cycles one to nine and completely alters what the same life path feels like from year to year.
What is the difference between a life path and a personal year?
Your life path is the whole road. Your personal year is the weather this year. A 3 in a 1 year and a 3 in a 9 year behave like different people, which is why the year matters more than most people realise.
